Senior E-Commerce Automation Developer / Technical Operations Manager Stache Cups is seeking an experienced, hands-on technical operations leader for a long-term engagement. Depending on fit and availability, this can begin part-time or full-time and may grow over time. We need someone who can operate and improve a high-throughput production system—not only build attractive websites. PRODUCTION OBJECTIVE Build and operate a reliable workflow capable of completing 40 school stores and 40 club stores per day. “Completed” means each store is generated, checked for accuracy and functionality, and ready for its intended launch. You will help make that pace repeatable through automation, quality controls, exception handling, and clear operating metrics. WHAT YOU’LL OWN • Operate, troubleshoot, and improve automated Shopify store-production workflows. • Build and maintain integrations, scripts, and internal tools using Python and JavaScript. • Work with AWS services and deployment workflows to keep production reliable and observable. • Connect e-commerce operations with creative production tools, including Adobe applications and Blender. • Use AI-assisted workflows thoughtfully for repetitive production, content, and quality checks, with human review where needed. • Establish practical QA checks, error reporting, recovery procedures, and documentation for the team. • Measure throughput, completion quality, failure rates, and bottlenecks; improve the system based on evidence. • Communicate clearly, protect private business and technical information, and work independently in a fast-moving environment. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE • Demonstrated experience operating an automated production or e-commerce system at meaningful volume. Please describe what ran in production, your role in daily operations, typical throughput, how you monitored failures, and how you kept quality consistent. • Strong Shopify and API/integration experience, plus practical Python and JavaScript skills. • Experience with AWS and production troubleshooting (deployment, logs/monitoring, reliability, and recovery). • Ability to work across technical and creative production workflows. Adobe, Blender, and AI-assisted production experience are valuable. • A track record of shipping dependable systems and improving them after launch—not just delivering one-off websites. AVAILABILITY & ENGAGEMENT We are looking for someone who can start immediately. Within 48 hours after onboarding, we expect to arrange a paid technical demonstration based on a bounded, representative task. Scope, timing, and payment for that demonstration will be agreed before it begins. Do not include or request access to private infrastructure, credentials, or internal technical documentation in your proposal; any necessary onboarding access will be handled privately and appropriately.
