Senior Full-Stack Developer Needed for Custom Next.js Application

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to help us build a custom web application from the ground up. This is not a simple website or template customization project. We need someone comfortable building production-grade SaaS/web applications with a modern React/Next.js stack, including frontend architecture, backend APIs, database design, authentication, integrations, and deployment. Tech Stack Our preferred stack is: * Next.js / React * TypeScript * Tailwind CSS * PostgreSQL * Supabase or equivalent backend infrastructure * REST APIs / server actions * Third-party API integrations * Git / GitHub * Vercel or AWS for deployment We’re open to suggestions where there is a strong technical reason to use an alternative. What You’ll Be Doing You will be responsible for developing features across the entire application, including: * Building responsive interfaces from Figma designs * Developing reusable React/Next.js components * Creating API endpoints and backend functionality * Designing and optimizing PostgreSQL database schemas * Implementing authentication and authorization * Building user dashboards and application workflows * Integrating third-party APIs and services * Handling file uploads and data processing * Implementing form validation and error handling * Managing application state * Building admin functionality * Writing clean, maintainable TypeScript * Testing and debugging * Optimizing application performance * Deploying and maintaining production builds Development Standards We care heavily about code quality and architecture. The application should be: * Modular and scalable * Properly typed with TypeScript * Component-based * Secure * Performance optimized * Easy for another developer to understand and maintain * Built with production deployment in mind We don’t want someone who simply makes the feature “work.” We want someone who thinks about how the application should be architected properly from the beginning. Requirements You should have strong experience with: * Next.js * React * TypeScript * PostgreSQL * API development * Authentication / authorization * Git/GitHub * Responsive frontend development * Third-party API integrations * Production deployments You should also be comfortable taking a Figma design and turning it into a pixel-accurate, production-ready interface. Nice to Have Experience with any of the following is a major plus: * Supabase * Next.js App Router * Prisma / Drizzle * Stripe * OpenAI APIs * AI/LLM integrations * Background jobs / queues * AWS * Vercel * Docker * SaaS application development * Admin dashboards * Real-time functionality How We Work We prefer working with developers who can take ownership of features rather than requiring detailed instructions for every step. You will receive requirements, designs, and product context, and you’ll be expected to: 1. Understand the requirement 2. Think through the technical implementation 3. Identify potential issues 4. Build the feature 5. Test it thoroughly 6. Submit it for review 7. Address QA feedback 8. Deploy when approved There will be ongoing work for the right developer, with the possibility of becoming a long-term position.
