Senior PHP / Laravel Developer Needed

Individual, NOT Agency. We are looking for a senior PHP/Laravel developer to work on an existing production application and support ongoing backend development, debugging, integrations, and system improvements. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working inside a mature codebase, understanding existing business logic, tracing data flow, fixing production issues, improving API and database behavior, and adding new functionality without unnecessarily rewriting stable parts of the system. Strong hands-on experience with **PHP, Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, and AWS** is required. You should also be confident working with third-party integrations, background jobs, queues, authentication, application performance, and complex backend workflows. You should be able to work independently, communicate clearly, review unfamiliar code quickly, and investigate issues across application logic, APIs, database queries, and cloud infrastructure. This is a long-term role for someone dependable who can maintain consistent availability and communicate with the team during agreed US business hours.
