Senior Technical Recruiter

​We are a boutique recruiting firm partnering with fast-growing venture-backed startups and growth-stage companies. We are launching a 6-to-8 requisition search for specialized software engineering and technical roles starting in two weeks. ​We are seeking an experienced 1099 Contract Technical Recruiter to join us as a fractional partner (15–20 hours per week) to own candidate sourcing, initial technical screening, and shortlisting. ​What You’ll Be Doing: ​Actively sourcing passive engineering talent via LinkedIn Recruiter and tech channels (Full-Stack, Backend, DevOps, Data, and Tech Leads). ​Conducting thorough 20-minute screening interviews to vet technical alignment, salary expectations, location/authorization, and soft skills. ​Drafting concise candidate scorecards and presenting a vetted shortlist of 3–5 top candidates per role. ​Managing pipeline updates within our system. ​What We Are Looking For: ​3+ years of proven technical recruiting experience specifically focused on software engineering and IT infrastructure roles. ​Deep familiarity with modern tech stacks (React, Node, Python, AWS, DevOps, Microservices architecture). ​Professional, consultative communication style and ability to represent our firm with high authority. ​Self-starter who operates independently with minimal hand-holding. ​Role Details: ​Type: Independent Subcontractor (B2B) ​Hours: 15 to 20 hours/week (Flexible schedule during US business hours) ​Start Date: Immediate / Within 7–10 days
