SEO, Local Search & AI Automation Engineer We are looking for a highly technical SEO professional who can take ownership of a sophisticated organic and local search strategy while also helping us build automation and AI-driven systems around SEO execution, monitoring, reporting and research. This is not a content-writer SEO role. We need someone who understands the technical infrastructure behind high-performing search programs and can execute directly. The right person should have deep experience with: * Technical SEO audits and implementation * On-page and traditional organic SEO * Site architecture and internal linking * Google Business Profile optimization * Google Maps / Local Pack rankings * Multi-location local SEO * Local citations and NAP consistency * Review and reputation signals * Backlink and authority development * Competitive SEO analysis * Keyword and market opportunity research * Schema and structured data * Core Web Vitals and technical site performance * Search Console, GA4 and SEO analytics platforms * Ranking, traffic, lead and conversion reporting A major part of this position will involve developing and executing a much more sophisticated local-search infrastructure across multiple markets. You should understand how Google evaluates geographic relevance, business prominence, authority, reviews, citations, website signals and Google Business Profiles—and how these signals work together. We also want someone technically capable enough to use AI and automation to make the SEO operation dramatically more efficient. Experience with some combination of the following is highly desirable: * AI agents and LLM-based workflows * Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI platforms * Python * JavaScript * SQL * APIs and webhooks * Automated SEO research * Automated competitive monitoring * Large-scale keyword and SERP analysis * Automated reporting and dashboards * Data extraction and enrichment * Workflow automation You do not need to be a traditional software engineer, but you should be comfortable building, modifying or directing technical systems rather than relying entirely on third-party SEO tools. The person we hire will work directly with leadership and will be expected to execute against a defined strategy, identify weaknesses in the existing digital infrastructure, recommend improvements, and then help implement them. We are looking for someone who is analytical, technically aggressive and highly execution-oriented. We want measurable improvement in rankings, local visibility, qualified organic traffic and ultimately signed clients—not SEO activity for its own sake.
