## Website Designer & Developer – Custom Cabinetry Manufacturing Website We are looking for an experienced website designer/developer to create a modern, professional website for our new cut-to-size cabinetry manufacturing business based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This is **not a basic brochure website**. We want a high-quality website that becomes an important part of how customers price, order and submit cabinetry projects to us. Our customers include cabinetmakers, builders, shopfitters, trades, DIY renovators and homeowners. We already have our branding/logo and will provide cabinetry and factory photography, technical information and content assistance. ### Key Functionality The website needs to offer customers several ways to get started: **1. Project Price Estimator** A simple estimator primarily aimed at homeowners/DIY customers who want an approximate price range before proceeding. **2. Price & Order Online** Integration/linking with our existing Cabinetry Online/GoCabinets portal, where customers can enter their own cabinetry, receive instant pricing and place orders. This will be available to both trade and DIY customers, with different pricing levels managed through the ordering system. **3. Send Us Your Plans** A comprehensive multi-step project submission system where homeowners, builders, cabinetmakers and other customers can upload plans, sketches, measurements, photos and specifications and have us prepare their project for quoting. This needs to be **much more than a standard enquiry form**. We want a guided form using conditional logic to collect relevant project information such as: * Project type and dimensions * Materials, colours and finishes * Budget/quality level * Hardware requirements and quality level * Handles or handleless options * Special hardware/features such as pull-out bins, inner drawers, pantry systems etc. * Flat pack or assembled * Benchtops * Pickup or delivery * Plans, sketches, photos and inspiration images Less experienced customers should be guided through the process with explanations and images where helpful, while experienced trade customers should have a faster submission option. A much more detailed specification for this system will be provided to shortlisted candidates. **4. Full Measure, Design & Installation** Customers wanting the complete service will be directed to our partner cabinetry business, for measure, design, manufacture and installation. ### Products, Services & Resources We want a comprehensive website including: * Detailed Products & Services * Materials, colours and finishes * Supplier brochures/resources * Hardware and cabinetry options * Trade customer section * DIY/homeowner information * Self-help/tutorial centre * Video tutorials * FAQs * Gallery/projects * Factory and machinery * Pickup/delivery information * Contact and project enquiries * Google Reviews * Strong local SEO foundation The **Tutorial/Resource Centre** is particularly important because we want customers who choose to enter their own jobs to be able to learn how to use the ordering system and understand the cabinetry process. We already have access to tutorial videos from our cabinetry ordering software provider and want the ability to continually add our own tutorials and resources in the future. The **Products & Services** section also needs to be comprehensive rather than a basic list. Customers should be able to explore materials, finishes, hardware and available services and access relevant supplier brochures and product information. ### Design We want the website to feel like an established, professional manufacturing company — **modern, clean, high-quality and extremely easy to navigate**. We do not want a generic template with our logo simply added to it. We have researched several leading businesses within our industry and have specific examples of functionality and design features we like. **We will provide these reference websites and our detailed functional brief to shortlisted candidates.** These websites are for inspiration and functionality reference only. We want an original website designed specifically for our brand. ### Important Requirements The website must be: * Fully responsive/mobile friendly * Fast loading * SEO friendly * Easy for us to edit and maintain * Expandable as the business grows * Capable of multi-file uploads * Capable of advanced conditional multi-step forms * Capable of a custom project price estimator/calculator * Capable of integrating/linking external ordering software * Able to host/embed tutorials and supplier resources * Set up with Google Analytics and Search Console * Secure and properly protected against spam * Fully owned and controlled by us after completion We require full administrator access and do not want to be locked into a developer's proprietary platform or an ongoing maintenance arrangement. ### Budget We are looking for **good value rather than simply the cheapest developer**. The budget shown on this job is indicative. We are happy to consider proposals based on the developer's experience, portfolio and proposed solution. We would prefer a **fixed project price** once the complete scope has been reviewed.
