WooCommerce Plugin Developer – Custom EZ PIN API Integration

Project Overview We are seeking an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer to build a custom plugin integrating our existing WooCommerce website with the EZ PIN API. The objective is to fully automate the gift card purchasing and fulfillment process, from checking product availability and verifying customer payments to placing orders with EZ PIN and securely delivering gift card codes to customers. The website is already operational. We require a reliable, secure, and scalable integration that minimizes manual administration. Scope of Work 1. Real-Time Gift Card Availability Integrate with EZ PIN API to check gift card availability. Perform background availability checks without disruptive popups. Prevent checkout for unavailable products. Handle API errors and timeouts. 2. Automated Order Processing Detect successful WooCommerce payment confirmation. Automatically submit the corresponding order to EZ PIN. Prevent duplicate transactions. Record EZ PIN transaction references and responses. 3. Automatic Gift Card Delivery Retrieve purchased gift card codes from EZ PIN. Automatically email codes to customers. Display purchased codes in WooCommerce My Account → Orders → Order Details. Prevent duplicate email delivery. 4. Order Status Synchronization Automatically update WooCommerce order statuses. Handle processing, completed, failed, cancelled, and refunded orders. Maintain transaction and fulfillment records. 5. WordPress Admin Dashboard Develop an administrative interface allowing us to: Monitor EZ PIN orders and fulfillment status. Review transaction history and API errors. Investigate unsuccessful transactions. Safely retry eligible failed orders. View and resend purchased gift card codes. Manage eligible refunds through WooCommerce. 6. Security, Testing & Deployment Secure API authentication and credential management. Secure storage and handling of digital gift card codes. Error logging and recovery mechanisms. End-to-end testing of successful and failed transactions. Deployment to our live WooCommerce website. Developer Requirements Strong WordPress and WooCommerce plugin development experience. Advanced PHP and REST API integration skills. Experience working with payment confirmation events and WooCommerce hooks. Experience with automated digital product delivery. Knowledge of secure transaction processing, webhooks, and duplicate order prevention. Ability to provide clean, documented, maintainable code.
