React Native Developer Needed for Step Tracking Competition App (Stride) I am looking for an experienced React Native developer to complete the build of my app, Stride. Stride is a step tracking competition app where users join challenges, track their steps, and compete against others. The full design is already complete and ready to hand over, so there is no guesswork on your end. The tech stack has also been decided and partially set up. Your job is to bring it all together and deliver a working app ready for Play Store and App Store submission. Tech Stack React Native with Expo Supabase for the backend, authentication, and database Stripe for payments What needs to be built Step Tracking. The app needs to read step data from the phone's built-in pedometer as well as connected smartwatches. This should work on both Android and iOS using the device's native health data. On Android this will use expo-health-connect and on iOS HealthKit via Expo. Stripe Integration. Users need to be able to top up a wallet inside the app and use that balance to enter paid step competitions. Stripe needs to handle deposits and any payouts. This needs to be fully functional and not just a placeholder. Competition System. Users can create or join step challenges over a set time period. The app tracks each participant's steps in real time and displays a leaderboard. Winners are determined at the end of the competition period. Authentication. Sign up, log in, and user profiles via Supabase Auth. Core Screens. Home feed, active competition view, leaderboard, wallet and payment screen, profile page, and step history. All screens are already designed.
