Full-Stack Developer / QA Engineer to Audit & Prepare SaaS App for Launch — Base44 + Stripe

JOB DESCRIPTION: I am looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer / QA Engineer to perform a complete production-readiness audit and final launch preparation of my SaaS platform, CogaTrade. The application has been built on Base44. Experience with Base44 is a strong advantage, but I am also open to developers with strong full-stack development, React/TypeScript, SaaS, Stripe and QA/testing experience. The goal is simple: I want CogaTrade to be thoroughly tested, all identified issues fixed, and the application ready for public launch. I do NOT want someone to simply give me a list of bugs. I need someone who can find problems, diagnose them, fix them, and retest them. WHAT I NEED TESTED: 1. AUTHENTICATION & ACCOUNTS Thoroughly test: - Manual registration - Login - Logout - Google authentication - Apple authentication - Password validation - Password reset/recovery - New-user account creation - Returning users - Session persistence - Page refreshes - Browser navigation - Authentication redirects - Onboarding flow Make sure users cannot bypass required onboarding or access areas they should not have access to. 2. STUDENT WORKSPACE Test the complete student experience, including: - Student dashboard - Profile - Settings - Coaching functionality - Coach selection - Invitations - Student/coach relationships - Student workspace - All buttons and links - Forms - Data saving/loading - Permissions - Navigation - Notifications - Empty states - Error states - Loading states - All student-specific features Make sure a brand-new student does not automatically see workspaces, coaches or information that should only appear after selecting a coach or being invited by one. 3. COACH WORKSPACE Test the complete coach experience, including: - Coach dashboard - Student management - Student invitations - Student onboarding - Coach/student relationships - Workspace functionality - Coaching tools - Forms - Data persistence - Permissions - Navigation - Notifications - All buttons and actions Verify that coaches can only access information they are supposed to access. 4. ADMIN WORKSPACE Test the entire admin environment, including: - Admin dashboard - User management - Subscription information - Platform management - Permissions - Admin-only functionality - Data visibility - Navigation - All actions/buttons - Admin tools Make sure normal students and coaches cannot access admin functionality. 5. COACHING MARKETPLACE Perform a complete end-to-end test of the coaching marketplace. Test: - Marketplace loading - Coach listings - Searching - Filtering - Coach profiles - Selecting a coach - Booking/purchasing processes where applicable - Student/coach connection - Empty states - Error states - Mobile/responsive behaviour - All buttons and links Test the complete marketplace journey rather than simply checking whether the page loads. 6. AFFILIATE SYSTEM Thoroughly test: - Affiliate registration - Affiliate links - Referral tracking - Referral attribution - New-user registration through affiliate links - Commission tracking - Affiliate dashboard - Affiliate data - Payout-related functionality - Permissions - Tracking across sessions where applicable Verify that referrals are correctly attributed and that commissions/referrals are not incorrectly lost or assigned. 7. STRIPE — COMPLETE SETUP & PRODUCTION READINESS This is a major part of the project. I need the existing Stripe integration thoroughly reviewed and completed so that Stripe is fully configured and ready for production. Check: - Stripe products - Stripe prices - Monthly subscriptions - Yearly subscriptions - Correct pricing - Stripe customer creation - Subscription creation - Checkout - Customer Portal - Webhooks - Webhook events - Webhook secrets/configuration - Trial configuration - Checkout return URLs - Customer Portal return URLs - Production URLs - Sandbox/test mode - Production readiness TEST THE COMPLETE SUBSCRIPTION LIFECYCLE: - Free → Pro - Free → Elite - 30-day Pro trial - 30-day Elite trial - Trial → paid subscription - Trial expiration - Pro → Elite - Elite → Pro - Paid → Free - Cancellation - Failed payment - Successful payment - Subscription renewal - Webhook updates The CogaTrade billing page must always correctly reflect the actual Stripe subscription state. TRIAL SYSTEM: Verify that: - A user receives only their permitted free trial. - A user cannot repeatedly create accounts through the normal application flow to receive unlimited trials. - Trial status is correctly stored. - Trial expiration works correctly. - Users who have already consumed their trial cannot start another one. - Stripe and the CogaTrade database remain synchronized. CRITICAL STRIPE REQUIREMENT: Do not simply test whether Stripe accepts a payment. Test the complete journey: CogaTrade → Stripe Checkout → Payment → Stripe webhook → CogaTrade database → Return to CogaTrade → Billing page reflects the correct subscription 8. URLS & ROUTING Test every important URL and route. This includes: - https://cogatrade.com - Authentication routes - Dashboard routes - Student routes - Coach routes - Admin routes - Marketplace routes - Billing routes - Stripe Checkout return URLs - Stripe Customer Portal return URLs Check for: - Infinite loading - Black screens - 404 errors - Incorrect redirects - Broken links - Incorrect permissions - Authentication loops - Internal/dispatcher URLs accidentally being exposed - Page refresh problems - Browser-specific problems 9. UI / UX / VISUAL QUALITY I also want a complete visual inspection of the application. Test: - Desktop - Tablet - Mobile - Chrome - Safari where possible - Firefox where possible Look for: - Misaligned elements - Overlapping elements - Incorrect spacing - Broken buttons - Text overflow - Missing icons - Incorrect fonts - Inconsistent styling - Poor responsive behaviour - Broken cards - Broken tables - Bad loading states - Missing empty states - Poor error states - Black screens - Infinite loading screens - Unprofessional pages - Anything that makes the application look unfinished The goal is for CogaTrade to look like a professional SaaS product that is ready for real customers. 10. COMPLETE FUNCTIONAL TESTING I want every major button, link, form and interactive element tested. Do not only test the happy path. Test: - Valid inputs - Invalid inputs - Empty inputs - Incorrect permissions - Page refreshes - Browser back/forward navigation - New users - Existing users - Trial users - Paid users - Cancelled users - Different user roles - Different subscription states Look for: - Race conditions - Loading issues - Broken state management - Data that does not persist - Incorrect permissions - Frontend/backend inconsistencies - Errors that only occur in specific user states DELIVERABLES: 1. COMPLETE AUDIT Provide a structured report containing: - Issue - Location - Severity - Steps to reproduce - Expected behaviour - Actual behaviour - Recommended fix Use severity levels: Critical High Medium Low 2. FIXES Fix the issues discovered during the audit, particularly all Critical and High severity issues and as many Medium issues as possible within the agreed scope. The objective is not simply to report problems — I want the application brought to a production-ready state. 3. RETESTING After fixes are made, retest the affected functionality to confirm that: - The issue is fixed - The fix has not broken another feature - The original workflow works correctly 4. FINAL LAUNCH READINESS REPORT At the end of the project, provide a clear assessment: READY FOR LAUNCH or NOT READY FOR LAUNCH Any remaining issues must be clearly identified. IMPORTANT: I am NOT looking for a quick 30-minute test or someone who simply clicks around the application. I need someone capable of investigating problems at the frontend, backend, database, authentication and Stripe integration level. The app is built on Base44, so Base44 experience is highly desirable. Strong experience with: - Base44 - React - TypeScript - SaaS applications - Stripe - Stripe Webhooks - Authentication - QA - Debugging - Production deployments - Responsive UI/UX is highly desirable. NDA: An NDA will be required before access to the full application and sensitive business information is provided. I will provide the necessary access after the NDA is completed. BUDGET: Initial fixed-price budget: $200. I understand the scope is extensive, so I am looking for someone who can work efficiently and systematically. If the initial engagement goes well, there is potential for ongoing development, maintenance and additional paid work. PROPOSED MILESTONES: Milestone 1 — $75 Complete production audit + comprehensive bug report. Milestone 2 — $125 Fixes + retesting + final launch-readiness assessment.
