Full-Stack Developer — Three.js SaaS Handover & Ongoing Development

We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer to take ownership of an existing AI-powered 3D design and visualization SaaS platform, built with Three.js (3D/WebGL), a JavaScript/Node.js backend, and a Vue.js frontend. The platform is used by professional designers and includes: - Real-time 3D visualization and configuration of products in a scene - AI-assisted features (integrated AI/LLM functionality) - Product catalog integration - A built-in CRM for managing clients and leads - Automatic generation of the technical documents designers need to hand off a project — including floor plans, wall elevation drawings, and other design specification documents The product is already built and functional — you will not be starting from scratch. This is a technical handover: you'll receive the full codebase (with version history), the database schema, environment/configuration files, a list of third-party services and AI/API integrations the app depends on, and a functional overview document describing what's implemented and its status, module by module. Your first task is to get the application redeployed and running in a new hosting environment. After the handover, we're looking for an ongoing, part-time engagement (hourly) to continue development, fix issues, and build new features as the product grows. What we need: - Strong experience with Three.js / WebGL and real-time 3D web applications (not just static 3D scenes) - Full-stack JavaScript: Node.js backend, Vue.js frontend - Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI or similar) into a production application - Experience with CRM-style features (managing clients, leads, pipelines) is a strong plus - Experience generating technical/design documents (floor plans, elevation drawings, PDF exports) from application data is a strong plus - Comfortable taking ownership of an existing codebase without the original developer present long-term - Clear, proactive communication — this will mostly be independent work with regular async updates How this will start: 1. Review of the codebase and the functional overview document we provide 2. Redeploying and getting the application running in a new environment 3. Moving into ongoing maintenance and feature development This is intended to be a long-term, ongoing collaboration for the right person.
