Full Stack Developer with AWS Experience Needed for Existing Client Portal

We are seeking an experienced full stack developer with strong AWS and backend troubleshooting skills to take over, stabilize, and maintain an existing web portal. The application includes document uploads, user assignments, status tracking, forms, and integrations with external systems. Our immediate priority is troubleshooting file uploads and synchronization issues and improving reliability. **Scope of work** - Review the existing codebase, AWS environment, database, and integrations. - Troubleshoot document uploads and transfers between AWS S3 and Google Drive. - Investigate failed background jobs, synchronization issues, and error handling. - Resolve backend and frontend issues as needed. - Implement and verify fixes while protecting existing data. - Document the application setup, deployment process, and changes made. - Provide ongoing maintenance and support as needed. **Required experience** - Full stack development and taking over existing applications. - AWS, including S3, IAM, application hosting, and logging. - PostgreSQL and backend troubleshooting. - API integrations, including Google Drive API. - Background jobs and file synchronization workflows. - Git, controlled deployments, and rollback procedures. - Secure handling of confidential data. You should be comfortable investigating an unfamiliar application independently, identifying root causes, and explaining your findings clearly. **Initial engagement** We would like to begin with a paid assessment capped at five hours. Deliverables should include: - Findings and likely causes of the issues. - Recommended fixes in priority order. - A time estimate for implementation. - Any access or documentation gaps. Implementation will follow once we agree on the findings and scope. There is potential for ongoing, part-time support. **Please include in your proposal** 1.
