NodeJS Serverless Full-Stack Engineer — Ecommerce

We are looking for a backend engineer to build and improve features for ecommerce brands. The work includes integrating with platforms such as Shopify and other commerce, marketing, and advertising APIs; moving order and customer data into our platform; and building the services that support reporting and other product features. This is not just an implementation role. The engineer will help gather requirements, turn them into clear specs, lead feature updates from planning through release, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and tradeoffs. The backend runs primarily on NodeJS/TypeScript and AWS serverless infrastructure. The engineer will also be responsible for reliable data processing, logging, monitoring, and fixing production issues quickly. Our Ideal Candidate: * Has hands-on ecommerce experience and understands orders, customers, revenue, refunds, and the data challenges that come with connecting commerce platforms. * Has built and maintained production NodeJS/TypeScript services on AWS, including Lambda and API Gateway. * Is comfortable working with databases, S3, scheduled jobs, and complex external APIs that change over time. * Can lead a feature update: gather requirements, write a practical spec, break down the work, and drive it through release. * Moves quickly while maintaining reliable production systems and communicating clearly with a remote team.
