Part-Time ERP, Power BI & Automation Developer – Long-Term

We are a growing European workwear and safety-equipment company looking for a reliable part-time ERP, Business Intelligence and Automation Developer for an immediate start and potentially long-term cooperation. This is not a full-time position. We expect approximately 5–15 hours per week, depending on the current project. We would like to begin with a small paid trial project so that we can get to know each other and evaluate how well we work together. ABOUT OUR COMPANY AND SYSTEM We use weclapp as our ERP and CRM system. It provides a REST API with access to customers, products, customer orders, purchase orders, deliveries, invoices and other business data. We want to use this data to build practical internal tools that help our purchasing, operations and sales teams work more effectively. INITIAL PROJECTS Our first projects will include: • A dashboard showing open and delayed customer orders • A report showing overdue supplier orders and missing delivery dates • Sales performance against annual customer targets • Identification of customers whose turnover is declining or below their potential • Identification of product groups that individual customers are not yet purchasing • Automated reports and alerts for important exceptions • Future AI-supported workflows and internal tools The first priority is to create a reliable connection between the weclapp REST API and a reporting solution, potentially using Power BI and a central SQL database. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who can understand a business problem, recommend a practical solution and then build it. Required experience: • REST API integrations • Power BI, Power Query and DAX • SQL and database design • Python or another suitable programming language • ERP, CRM, sales or order-management data • Git and version control • Clear technical documentation • Good spoken and written English Experience with any of the following would be helpful: • Microsoft Azure • PostgreSQL or SQL Server • OpenAI API or other AI integrations • n8n, Make or Power Automate • Microsoft 365 integrations • Building internal web applications Previous experience with weclapp is helpful but not required. Experience integrating another ERP or CRM through a REST API is more important. PAID TRIAL PROJECT We would like to start with a small paid trial project. The trial will involve reviewing the weclapp API structure and creating a basic prototype that retrieves selected ERP data and presents open and overdue orders in a clear dashboard or report. The exact scope, hours and expected result will be agreed before the trial begins. We will initially provide test data or restricted read-only access. If the trial goes well, we would like to continue with further dashboards, reports, automations and AI-supported internal tools.
