We are looking for a strong full-stack engineer to join us during the production launch and continued growth of a large SaaS platform.
This is not a greenfield MVP. The application is already built and launching into production. We need someone who is comfortable stepping into an established codebase, understanding existing architecture quickly, monitoring production behavior, diagnosing issues, and making clean, targeted fixes without introducing unnecessary changes.
There is an immediate need for coverage during U.S. business hours, with the opportunity for this to become an ongoing position for the right person.
Tech Stack
Next.js
React
TypeScript
Supabase
PostgreSQL
Vercel
Git / GitHub
Stripe
REST APIs
Third-party payment and communications integrations
Experience with Resend, Twilio, OpenAI APIs, webhooks, RLS, payment systems, or production observability is a plus.
What You'll Be Doing
During launch and ongoing production support, you'll be responsible for monitoring application behavior and responding quickly when something isn't working correctly.
That includes:
Monitoring Vercel application and server logs
Monitoring Supabase/database behavior
Investigating production errors and failed requests
Diagnosing API and webhook failures
Troubleshooting authentication and permission issues
Investigating database/RPC failures
Debugging third-party integrations
Fixing frontend and backend production defects
Identifying whether an issue is application code, configuration, data, or an external provider
Testing fixes before deployment
Reviewing browser console/network errors
Helping validate critical customer workflows
Documenting what failed, why it failed, and what was changed
Escalating issues where a quick fix would create unnecessary production risk
You will be working alongside an existing development team. We are not looking for someone to come in and rewrite or redesign the application.
What We're Looking For
You should be able to open an unfamiliar production codebase and independently trace something like:
browser → Next.js route → server logic → Supabase/Postgres → third-party provider → response
and determine where the failure actually occurred.
Strong candidates will have real experience with:
Debugging production SaaS applications
Next.js server and client architecture
Supabase/PostgreSQL
SQL and database troubleshooting
Row Level Security
API integrations
Webhooks
Environment/configuration issues
Authentication and authorization
Git workflows
Reading logs and stack traces
Making targeted fixes without unnecessary refactoring
Important
This is a live production application. We value engineers who are careful and methodical under pressure.
If something breaks, we do not want someone immediately rewriting working systems or making broad architectural changes.
We want someone who can:
identify → reproduce → isolate → fix → test → verify
and clearly communicate what happened.
Availability
You must be available during U.S. Central Time business hours.
Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
There is potential for substantial ongoing work and a longer-term role for someone who performs well and works effectively with the existing team.
When Applying
Please include:
Your experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase and PostgreSQL.
An example of a production issue you personally diagnosed and fixed.
Your experience debugging webhooks or third-party API integrations.
Your experience with Vercel.
Your normal working hours and timezone.
Whether you are available during U.S. Central Time.
Your hourly rate.
How soon you can start.
Please do not send a generic agency introduction. We are looking for someone who can work directly with the codebase and communicate clearly with our team.
