Senior TypeScript / Cloudflare Engineer – Italian-Speaking

We are looking for a senior, hands-on engineer for an initial two-week paid sprint on an existing functional prototype. The objective is to establish the technical foundations for a secure, configurable and replicable multi-tenant integration platform. This is not a greenfield project or a generic chatbot implementation. Professional working proficiency in spoken and written Italian is required. Project discussions, interviews and regular meetings will be conducted in Italian. Source code and technical documentation may be written in English. Initial sprint scope: * Audit the existing TypeScript/Cloudflare implementation and propose a pragmatic target architecture * Improve separation between core logic, tenant configuration and connector adapters * Strengthen webhook reliability, idempotency, retries, secret management and observability * Establish a clean GitHub/CI-CD workflow * Deliver one working end-to-end vertical slice in a test/staging environment * Provide concise documentation, an onboarding runbook and a prioritized follow-on backlog Required experience: * TypeScript and Node.js * Cloudflare Workers, Queues and Durable Objects * APIs, webhooks and OAuth * Multi-tenant architecture and security * GitHub, CI/CD and observability Relevant additional experience: * Google Workspace or Microsoft Graph integrations * WhatsApp Business API * AI/LLM workflows with controlled external actions The initial engagement is expected to last 10 working days, with a possible 6–8 week extension depending on the outcome. Remote work with useful overlap with Central European hours is preferred. The selected contractor will work in a client-controlled repository and under confidentiality obligations.
