The Project We've built a web app that automates video production. It's live, in production, and producing real videos across multiple channels but lacks speed and quality at the moment. Think of it as an automated video factory: you feed it a topic, and the system researches, writes a script, generates voiceover, creates/finds visuals, assembles everything with FFmpeg/Remotion, and outputs a finished video with thumbnails. Tech Stack - Backend: Node.js, Express, TypeScript - Frontend: React 18, Vite, Zustand, Tailwind CSS - Database: Postgress + Prisma ORM What You'd Work On - Improving a footage matching system What We're Looking For Must-have: - Strong TypeScript + Node.js - React experience - Video - editing experience / knowledge. Big plus: - FFmpeg knowledge - Prisma ORM experience - Remotion or video processing background How We Work - Communication via chat (English or Dutch) - Development happens directly on the server and GitHub - We use AI coding tools (Claude Code) to speed up implementation - Features are specced out before building - Test on staging, then merge to production - Direct, no-nonsense communication - Clean Code Compensation Negotiable.
