Website and Apps booking platform backend developer

We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer to learn from and support the current backend developer. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for our existing website and continue an ongoing new build for the website and apps which will be released in less than 3 months. Must have experience with node.js express, firebase including firebase realtime database, firebase auth, github, email service email.js and payment integration (stripe) and dev ops knowledge for deployment. Responsibilities include fixing bugs, implementing updates, and optimizing performance and includes minor changes to keep the platform user experience running smooth. The ideal candidate should be very familiar with current best practices in React and have experience in troubleshooting and ensuring smooth functionality. This role is crucial for keeping our web application running efficiently and effectively, so attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are a must. You must be a leader as you are expected to support and instruct the team of frontend website developers and app builders. Our existing team members will support you in learning the system. You will initially support the current backend developer to learn the systems fully, then if successful in blending with the team we will assess if you are able to take the lead role in current maintenance and the new build.
