Windows Desktop & AI Automation Engineer – Ongoing Development

I came across your profile and was particularly interested in your experience with Windows desktop applications, Python automation, and .NET integrations. I own a real estate appraisal company, and I've been developing an AI-assisted workflow to automate much of our appraisal report production and business operations. We've made some encouraging progress. Our existing Python-based automation can populate thousands of records in TOTAL, our Windows-based appraisal software, preserve supporting data, and successfully save and reopen reports. Our AI team currently consists of OpenAI Codex, which handles the technical appraisal production and automation, and ChatGPT Dot, which serves as our operations coordinator. We're working toward having the two operate together more independently, with minimal intervention from me. This is still a developing workflow, and we're gradually making improvements. We've encountered some challenges involving execution permissions, Windows desktop interactions, PDF/image insertion, and overall reliability. I'm looking for an experienced engineer who can evaluate what we've already built, help resolve the remaining challenges, and improve the system without unnecessarily rebuilding what's already working. One important consideration is that I'm actively using this system to complete appraisal assignments, so maintaining its stability is a priority. I'd like development to proceed in carefully planned stages, beginning with an assessment of the existing setup, followed by incremental improvements that can be independently tested before being introduced into our production workflow. I don't want to disrupt what's already working or risk losing the progress we've made. Ideally, we'd maintain a separate testing environment, with production changes implemented only after they've been verified and approved. I'm also considering integrating a second appraisal software platform through its API, both as a backup to TOTAL and potentially as a more efficient alternative for automated report production. I'm interested in establishing a long-term working relationship with someone who can provide ongoing maintenance, implement new ideas, recommend improvements, and help develop strategies to make our automation more efficient and scalable. I especially welcome someone who brings their own ideas and proactively identifies opportunities we may not have considered. Ultimately, my goal is to process multiple appraisal assignments simultaneously with minimal manual involvement, allowing me to focus on the appraisal analysis, valuation decisions, and final review.
