# AI Automation & Agent Engineering Team — Audits, Workflow Automation & AI Agents Inspire Partners is looking for an experienced AI automation engineer or small engineering team to support client engagements focused on practical AI implementation within businesses and institutions. We are building an offering that helps organizations identify where AI can meaningfully improve how work gets done, prioritize the highest-value opportunities, implement the solutions, and support those systems over time. We are not looking for someone who only builds simple Zapier automations. We are looking for a technical partner who can understand a business process, help determine the right solution, and then build and maintain it. ## What the Work May Include Projects will vary by client, but may include: * Conducting or supporting organizational AI and automation audits * Mapping existing workflows and identifying automation opportunities * Designing and building AI-enabled workflows * Building AI agents for specific business functions * Integrating AI into existing systems and software * API integrations and data pipelines * Document processing and structured data extraction * Internal knowledge and retrieval systems * Finance, reporting, operations, sales, and administrative automation * Human-in-the-loop workflows and approval processes * Testing AI outputs for accuracy and reliability * Maintaining, monitoring, and improving deployed workflows * Helping us evaluate new AI tools, models, and infrastructure Examples could range from automating repetitive internal processes to creating agents that handle multi-step workflows across several systems. ## Who We Work With Our target clients are primarily businesses and institutions that know AI is important but often do not have the internal technical resources to determine where to start or implement it effectively. Our role is effectively to become an extension of their team: understand how the organization operates, identify where AI can create measurable value, implement the technology, help employees adopt it, and continue improving the systems over time. ## Who We Are Looking For Ideally, you are either: * A lead AI/automation engineer with additional engineers you can bring into projects as needed, or * A small technical team / agency with strong hands-on engineering capabilities We would strongly prefer someone with more than one technical resource available because client needs may span workflow automation, AI agents, APIs, infrastructure, data, and custom development. Relevant experience may include: * n8n, Make, Zapier or similar workflow platforms * OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and other LLM APIs * AI agents and tool-calling architectures * Python / JavaScript / TypeScript * REST APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations * RAG / knowledge retrieval systems * Vector databases and document processing * Voice or conversational AI * Cloud and self-hosted deployments * AI evaluation, monitoring and reliability * Security, permissions and data handling We care much more about what you have actually built than certifications. ## What Matters to Us We are looking for people who can: * Translate business problems into technical solutions * Recommend when AI is and is not the right answer * Build production-quality systems, not just demos * Work within a client's existing technology stack where practical * Communicate clearly with non-technical business leaders * Think about reliability, security and maintainability * Move quickly without sacrificing quality * Support solutions after launch This could become an ongoing relationship across multiple client engagements rather than a one-time project. ## When Applying Please include: 1. A short description of you and your team, including how many engineers could support projects. 2. 2–4 examples of AI automation or agent systems you have built for real businesses. 3. An example where you reviewed an existing business process and recommended what should be automated before building it. 4. The main technologies you typically use. 5. Whether you provide ongoing maintenance and support after implementation. 6. Your typical availability and how you prefer to structure engagements. If possible, include examples showing the business problem, what you built, and the result rather than simply sending a portfolio of AI demos.
