AI SaaS API Integration and Backend Setup

We’re looking for an experienced backend developer to integrate an AI API into an existing SaaS application. Scope of Work - Review the existing backend structure and integration requirements. - Configure and connect one AI API endpoint. - Implement request and response handling. - Add basic error handling and input validation. - Ensure the API response is correctly processed by the existing application. - Perform basic functionality testing and fix any integration-related issues. - Keep the implementation clean, secure, and consistent with the existing codebase. Requirements - Experience with REST APIs and backend development. - Previous experience integrating AI/third-party APIs. - Ability to work with an existing SaaS codebase. - Good understanding of API authentication, JSON data, and error handling. - Clear communication and ability to provide a brief summary of the completed work. Deliverables - One working AI API integration. - Proper request/response handling. - Basic testing completed. - Clean, documented implementation. This is a small, well-defined backend integration task and does not involve building a complete AI platform from scratch.
