Claude Code / Laravel Development Workflow Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced Claude Code power user and Laravel developer to provide live, one-on-one consulting and hands-on training to a senior technical manager. This is a training and advisory engagement—not outsourced development. We are not looking for someone to build the application for us. We want an expert who can work alongside us, help configure the right tools and workflows, demonstrate best practices, and answer questions in real time while we build. The Goal Our technical manager is already comfortable using Claude through the chat interface and managing applications on a cPanel-based server. The next step is moving from a “chat + manual deployment” workflow to a modern, AI-assisted development environment using Claude Code, Visual Studio Code, Git, and other appropriate tools. We want someone who has actually used these tools on production projects and can help us establish a workflow that will scale beyond a single developer. What We Want to Accomplish During live working sessions, you’ll help us: Set up an effective AI-assisted development workflow using Claude Code Configure the local development environment, including Claude Code, Visual Studio Code, Git, and any additional tools you recommend Establish best practices for providing Claude Code with project context, instructions, documentation, and development standards Develop an efficient workflow for using AI to build, review, debug, test, and maintain code Move away from a centralized/manual development process toward a Git-based, multi-developer workflow Establish sensible branching, pull request, code review, and collaboration conventions Create practices that allow multiple developers to contribute to the same application without stepping on each other's work Improve deployment practices from local development through production Learn the habits, guardrails, and processes that make AI-assisted development reliable and maintainable over time We’re particularly interested in understanding why you recommend a particular workflow—not simply having someone configure it for us. Our Technology Stack The application is built on: Backend Laravel 12 PHP 8.4 Apache + PHP-FPM MySQL / MariaDB Frontend React 19 Inertia.js TypeScript ShadCN UI Tailwind CSS Vite Laravel Ecosystem Filament admin panel Lunar (lunarphp) e-commerce Curator (awcodes) media/editor tools Infrastructure Dedicated Ubuntu 22.04 x86-64 server cPanel HTTPS-enabled production environment You should be genuinely comfortable working within this ecosystem and able to discuss practical development and deployment considerations—not just Claude prompting techniques. Ideal Experience We’re looking for someone with: Deep, practical experience with Claude Code Significant experience with AI-assisted software development workflows Hands-on experience shipping Laravel + Inertia + React + TypeScript applications Strong Git/GitHub or equivalent version-control experience Experience designing workflows for multiple developers contributing to the same application Filament experience is a strong plus Familiarity with Linux, Apache, PHP-FPM, cPanel, and production Laravel deployments Strong spoken English and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly A teaching/mentoring mindset rather than simply taking over and doing the work Availability for live virtual meetings during Pacific Time working hours Engagement Format This will consist primarily of live virtual working sessions with screen sharing. We expect to work through the actual setup together: installing and configuring tools, establishing repositories and workflows, testing the process, and discussing questions as they arise. The initial engagement may be a few focused sessions, with the potential for additional consulting as our team adopts the workflow. Proposals focused primarily on taking over development or building the application for us are not a fit for this engagement.
