Data & AI Automation Engineer

We are looking for a technically strong, client-facing professional to help clients implement AI-powered applications that automate data pipelines and technical workflows. This role combines technical implementation, client engagement, and technical instruction. You will work directly with clients to understand their requirements, guide them through integrations, explain technical concepts, and help them successfully implement AI- and data-driven solutions. Experience in AI, machine learning, data engineering, or related technologies is strongly preferred. ## What we're looking for ### Required * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills * Strong ability to communicate directly with clients in a professional and confident manner * Ability to lead technical integration sessions and provide clear technical instruction * Ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients with different levels of technical expertise * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Ability to work independently and take ownership of client integrations * Availability to work during U.S. business hours * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client engagements ### Strongly Preferred Experience in one or more of the following: * GenAI/Agentic AI * Data Engineering * Data pipelines and ETL/ELT * Python and SQL * APIs and system integrations * Cloud platforms * Databases and data warehouses * LLMs and AI-powered applications * Automation and workflow orchestration * Software engineering Experience working directly with customers, developers, technical teams, or implementation teams is highly valued. ## Responsibilities * Engage directly with clients during technical implementation and integration * Understand client requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions * Lead technical onboarding and integration sessions * Provide step-by-step technical instruction to help clients implement AI-powered applications * Help clients connect applications to their existing data sources and systems * Guide the implementation of automated data pipelines and workflows * Troubleshoot integration and implementation issues * Explain APIs, data flows, authentication, configurations, and technical requirements to clients * Work closely with internal engineering and developer-relations teams to resolve technical issues * Gather client feedback and communicate technical requirements internally * Ensure clients are able to successfully implement and use the technology ## Client Communication Strong verbal English communication is especially important for this position. The successful candidate should be comfortable leading live technical discussions, asking the right questions, explaining implementation steps, and guiding clients through integrations in real time. You should be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and confidently serve as the technical point of contact during an implementation. ## Reporting Structure Hiring Manager: Diego Reports to: Senior Manager of Developer Relations & Technology ## Location & Schedule Location: 100% Remote, preference given to candidates from Pakistan Working hours: Must have substantial availability during U.S. business hours. Exact working hours can be discussed based on the candidate's location and availability. ## Compensation $1,000–$3,000 USD/month, or potentially higher depending on experience and qualifications.
