Experienced Nuxt 3 / Vue 3 Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Nuxt 3 / Vue 3 Frontend Developer to help develop, improve, and troubleshoot a modern social media and advertising platform. This is not a basic website or landing-page project. The application includes real-time messaging, notifications, social interactions, advertising features, user profiles, dashboards, feeds, and other interactive functionality. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with an existing application, understanding the architecture quickly, identifying issues, and implementing clean, scalable solutions. Strong hands-on experience is required with: Nuxt 3 Vue 3 Composition API TypeScript / JavaScript Tailwind CSS Socket.IO / WebSockets Real-time frontend applications Node.js REST APIs Authentication and authorization flows Responsive UI development Git / GitHub Experience with modern state management such as Pinia is strongly preferred. Real-Time / Socket.IO Experience A major part of the application involves real-time functionality. You should have experience implementing and debugging: Socket.IO client connections WebSocket lifecycle management Authentication of socket connections Joining and leaving rooms User-specific and conversation-specific rooms Real-time chat messaging Typing indicators Online/offline presence Message delivery/read status Real-time notifications Reconnection handling Duplicate event prevention Event listener cleanup Synchronization between REST API responses and socket events Troubleshooting cases where backend events are emitted but the Vue/Nuxt frontend does not update correctly
