Paid Test Task: Solution Architect for Python API & React Application Review

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Full-Stack Engineer to complete a small paid technical assessment as part of our hiring process for a larger application modernization project. We have an existing web application with a Python backend and React frontend. The application is functional, but we want an experienced engineer to review a specific workflow, identify architectural or implementation issues, and propose/implement a focused improvement. This is intended to be a hands-on technical test, rather than a theoretical architecture exercise.
