React/Vite Developer Needed — Devv.ai Migration to Vercel/Supabase + Future Development

Project Overview I am seeking an experienced full-stack developer to migrate my existing Celtic.com web application from Devv.ai, which is scheduled to shut down on November 25, 2026. The application is operational and has over 300 registered users. I have exported the source code, including migration documentation and existing deployment configurations. My immediate objective is to preserve the existing application, its functionality, content, and user accounts while moving it to an independent hosting and database environment. My preferred technology stack is Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and authentication, and GitHub for source-code management, although I am open to alternative recommendations if technically justified. IMPORTANT: This project consists of two entirely separate phases. Phase 1 is the only work I am commissioning now. Phase 2 is potential future development and must be quoted separately. PHASE 1 — Immediate Application Migration (Required) Target completion: November 20, 2026 The existing application uses: React 18, Vite, and TypeScript Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui React Router Devv.ai database, authentication, and AI integrations Existing Vercel and Netlify deployment configurations Scope of Work 1. Technical Assessment Review the exported source code and migration documentation. Identify all dependencies on Devv.ai. Recommend the simplest, most reliable migration approach. Assess requirements for preserving existing user accounts, authentication, application data, and functionality. 2. Application Migration Establish a private GitHub repository under my ownership. Configure independent hosting, preferably Vercel. Migrate the existing application without unnecessary redesign or rebuilding. Replace Devv.ai backend services with Supabase or another appropriate solution. Migrate existing user accounts and application data. Restore essential AI functionality and integrations. Preserve the existing user interface and features wherever practical. 3. Testing and Deployment Test registration, login, database operations, and essential application features. Ensure the application operates independently of Devv.ai. Configure the production domain and complete deployment. Resolve migration-related issues. Provide basic technical documentation and administrative access. Phase 1 Deliverable: The existing Celtic.com application operating reliably on independent infrastructure, with its essential functionality and user data preserved, before the Devv.ai shutdown. Phase 1 Quotation Please provide a fixed-price quotation for Phase 1 only, together with your proposed timeline. If you require an initial paid technical assessment before confirming a fixed price, please quote that separately. I am not looking for a complete rebuild or redesign at this stage. My priority is an efficient, reliable migration of the existing application. PHASE 2 — Optional Future Development (Separate Project) Following the successful migration, I intend to expand Celtic.com into a comprehensive Celtic culture, heritage, and travel discovery platform. Potential future features include: A structured database covering Celtic history, mythology, folklore, sacred sites, and travel destinations. An AI-powered Celtic travel concierge that answers cultural and travel questions and recommends destinations and experiences. Personalized travel itinerary planning. Searchable destination and cultural information pages. Interactive maps, cultural trails, and heritage experiences. Potential integration with travel booking and affiliate services. The longer-term objective is to create a platform combining authoritative Celtic cultural information with AI-assisted travel planning. Phase 2 is not included in the current migration contract. I am not requesting a binding quotation for the entire future platform at this stage. However, I would welcome a separate, preliminary indication of: Your recommended technology approach. An approximate cost range for developing an initial MVP. Your hourly rate or preferred pricing structure for future work. Your availability and interest in an ongoing development relationship. Please do not include any Phase 2 development costs in your Phase 1 migration quotation. Required Developer Experience I am particularly interested in developers with demonstrated experience in: React, Vite, and TypeScript Supabase, PostgreSQL, and authentication systems Vercel deployment and GitHub Migrating existing applications from proprietary platforms API integrations, including AI services Maintaining and extending existing web applications Experience migrating live applications while preserving existing user accounts and data is particularly valuable. Clear communication and the ability to explain technical decisions to a nontechnical business owner are important. Proposal Requirements Please structure your proposal as follows: A. Phase 1 — Immediate Migration Briefly describe your relevant experience and similar projects. Explain your proposed migration approach. Provide your fixed-price quotation for Phase 1 only. Confirm your earliest start date and estimated completion date. Identify any significant technical risks or dependencies. Estimate ongoing monthly hosting and infrastructure costs. Indicate what additional information you would need before confirming your quotation. B. Phase 2 — Optional Future Development Provide any preliminary recommendations for the future Celtic.com platform. Give an indicative MVP development cost range, if feasible. State your hourly rate or preferred pricing structure for future development. Indicate whether you would be interested in a longer-term relationship. Selection Process I will shortlist developers based primarily on their relevant migration experience, technical approach, Phase 1 quotation, and ability to meet the deadline. The exported source code and migration documentation will be made available privately to shortlisted candidates for review. All source code, hosting accounts, databases, and associated infrastructure must remain under my ownership and control.
