Senior Lead Laravel Developer – ERP, FilamentPHP, SaaSykit & Sage 50 (Accounts & Payroll)

Senior Lead Laravel Developer & Database Architect with experience in integration and backend development of enterprise ERP platform and building robust, bi-directional integrations with Sage 50 Accounts & Sage 50 Payroll. Our core platform is built on Laravel (10/11), FilamentPHP (v3/v4), and SaaSykit Tenancy. We need a sharp-minded, highly autonomous engineer who can take full ownership of database architecture, complex SQL performance tuning, multi-tenant logic, and fault-tolerant financial sync engines. If you are a master of Laravel queues, complex relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB), and have real-world experience integrating web applications with Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll, this project is for you. Key Responsibilities: Laravel & Database Architecture: Design normalized, high-concurrency database schemas, optimize complex SQL queries (CTEs, execution plans, indexing), and balance Eloquent ORM with raw Query Builder for performance-critical tasks. FilamentPHP & SaaSykit Ecosystem: Extend Filament admin panels—building custom resources, dynamic tables, relation managers, custom actions, and leveraging SaaSykit's multi-tenant tenant isolation mechanics. Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll Integration: Architect bi-directional sync pipelines for: Accounts: Invoices, credit notes, customer/supplier ledgers, nominal codes, general ledger journals, bank receipts, and VAT returns. Payroll: Ingesting timesheets, overtime rates, and bonuses into Sage 50 Payroll; extracting gross-to-net summaries, tax/NI deductions, and posting journals back to Sage Accounts. Queue & Idempotency Management: Build resilient Laravel Queue/Worker pipelines (Redis, Horizon, database locks) with strict idempotency keys to ensure no financial record or payroll line is ever duplicated or lost. 🎯 Required Skills & Experience: 5+ Years Senior Laravel/PHP Experience: Advanced mastery of Laravel 10/11, custom service providers, event sourcing, middleware, queues, jobs, and database transactions. Deep SQL & MySQL/MariaDB Mastery: Expert in query optimization (EXPLAIN), indexing strategies, raw SQL, CTEs, window functions, and row-level locking. FilamentPHP (v3/v4) & SaaSykit / Multi-Tenancy: Hands-on experience customizing Filament resources, forms, tables, and working within multi-tenant SaaS architectures. Sage 50 Integration Experience: Proven commercial experience integrating Laravel apps with Sage 50 Accounts AND Sage 50 Payroll via Sage SDK, Sage Data Objects (SDO), Sage 50cloud REST APIs, or ODBC drivers.
