Senior WordPress Freelancer or Agency — Bedrock, ACF and Storybook Experience

We are assessing freelancers and agencies for a potential custom WordPress project. Our immediate priority is reviewing completed projects that closely match the requirements below. Please lead your application with relevant examples and explain how they were built. **Required experience** * Bespoke classic/non-FSE WordPress themes built from scratch. * Roots Bedrock and Composer. * ACF Flexible Content, with custom post types, taxonomies and fields registered in PHP. * Components with corresponding ACF layouts, PHP partials and Storybook stories. * Figma-derived design tokens using Style Dictionary. * Semantic HTML, BEM CSS and vanilla JavaScript. * Pull requests, code reviews and CI/CD. * Automated checks covering WordPress Coding Standards, PHPStan, Playwright, accessibility, Lighthouse performance budgets and visual regression. Examples should demonstrate this custom development approach. We dont want Elementor sites, purchased theme customisations and Gutenberg-only builds. those will not meet the requirements. **Scope of the freelance work** Our team will handle APIs and external service integrations. Your work will focus on: * Building the custom WordPress theme and responsive templates from supplied Figma designs. * Creating the ACF content structure and reusable components. * Implementing WordPress content migration and template-level SEO requirements. * Meeting the agreed accessibility, performance and testing standards. * Coordinating with our developers where integrations connect to the WordPress templates. An established repository and engineering process will be provided. **What to submit** Please provide your two or three closest matching projects. For each, include: 1. The website link and a short description. 2. Your exact contribution, or your agency’s responsibility. 3. Which technologies and practices listed above were used, clearly identifying any differences. 4. Supporting evidence you can share, such as code excerpts, a Storybook link or screenshots of the component structure. 5. Permission for us to share the example and your contribution with our prospective client. Please include at least one detailed example rather than a general portfolio without technical explanations.
