Technical Consultant / Project Manager | Software Engineering Background

We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant or Project Manager with a strong hands-on software development background to join our team for a long-term, part-time collaboration. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has worked extensively as a software engineer and is now interested in combining technical expertise with project coordination, consulting, and client communication. At least 70% of your professional experience must involve hands-on software development or coding. We welcome developers from various technical backgrounds, including frontend, backend, full-stack, desktop, mobile, cloud, and enterprise application development. Experience with technologies such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, and Java is valuable, but we are not limiting this opportunity to a particular programming language or technology stack. What matters most is your ability to understand complex software systems, communicate technical concepts clearly, and make sound engineering decisions. You should be comfortable discussing project requirements with clients, collaborating with developers, reviewing technical approaches, identifying potential issues, and helping projects move forward efficiently. Candidates with experience in AI development, LLM integrations, AI agents, or intelligent automation are especially welcome, although AI experience is not mandatory. We value professionals who combine strong technical judgment with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Previous experience in technical consulting, project management, engineering leadership, or client-facing development would be a strong advantage. This is a U.S.-only, fully remote, part-time contract opportunity with flexible working hours and the potential for long-term collaboration. Compensation will depend on your experience, technical background, and responsibilities. If you have a solid software engineering background and enjoy working with both clients and development teams, we'd be happy to hear from you. Please share your technical experience, previous development responsibilities, and any relevant consulting or project management experience.
