Web and Desktop App Developer (AI-assisted development)

We’re looking for a contract developer to build and maintain both web and desktop applications for a trading risk-management SaaS, who can work alongside an AI-assisted development workflow rather than replace it. The role includes working on APIs, desktop app development, and supporting/reviewing AI-generated code workflows. You should be comfortable contributing to full-stack projects, troubleshooting issues, and helping improve application performance and reliability. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who can collaborate closely and deliver dependable solutions across multiple platforms. The developer will help review and extend the existing codebase, implement integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and develop a companion Windows/macOS desktop application/connector using Tauri . We will continue using Lovable/AI for portions of product development. You must be comfortable reviewing, modifying and improving AI-generated code rather than requiring the application to be rebuilt from scratch. We use Lovable's built-in GitHub sync. The developer works in GitHub; the founder reviews and merges. You do not need a Lovable editor seat. Experience desired: React, TypeScript, Supabase/Postgres, REST/WebSocket APIs, GitHub, Tauri or Electron, Windows/macOS packaging, authentication/security, and production SaaS applications. **Trading/broker API experience is a major plus. **** Immediate Need: Review of Desktop application code, security, and functionality then deliver in Windows packaging for client installs.
