WordPress Developer: Website Relaunch with Custom ACF Blocks

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to implement a complete redesign of an existing WordPress website for a Swiss company in the signage and lettering industry. The visual concept is already fully prepared as a detailed, interactive HTML mockup. Your task is the clean, pixel-accurate technical implementation within the existing WordPress installation. IMPORTANT TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS • This is a redesign of an existing WordPress website. • Existing content, texts, images and project tags must be preserved and integrated into the new layout automatically. No manual re-entry of existing content should be required. • No page builders. Elementor, Divi and similar solutions are explicitly not wanted. • The website must be implemented using the native WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) with custom ACF Blocks and/or ACF-based flexible content structures. • The final solution must allow our team to maintain and update content independently without requiring developer support for everyday changes. PROJECT SCOPE • Header and footer • Responsive, colour-coded mega menu • New homepage including a video header loop • New contact page • Flexible product/category templates using reusable ACF-based content modules, such as image/text sections, grids and accordions • References/projects overview with filtering based on the existing WordPress tag system • Troubleshooting an existing mail server issue related to the order form • Technical SEO fundamentals • Mobile-first implementation • Performance optimisation, including image optimisation and appropriate modern image formats • Clean, maintainable and well-structured code WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU Please include the following in your proposal: 1.
