AI Web Application Developer – Python / FastAPI / OpenAI

We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack AI Developer to build a modern AI-powered web application based on our ready-to-use Figma designs. The UI/UX is already designed, so we need someone who can translate the designs into a clean, responsive application and build the AI/backend functionality behind it. What You’ll Build Develop the frontend based on the provided Figma designs Build the backend using Python / FastAPI Integrate OpenAI or other LLM APIs Implement AI-powered features and workflows Build secure REST APIs Integrate PostgreSQL/database Implement user authentication and authorization Manage file/document uploads if required Build AI processing, prompts, and response handling Implement conversation/history management where needed Connect frontend with backend APIs Ensure responsive performance across desktop and mobile Handle error states, validation, logging, and API failures Deploy the application to a cloud server Preferred Tech Stack Frontend: React / Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS Backend: Python, FastAPI AI: OpenAI API, LLMs, LangChain/LangGraph Database: PostgreSQL Infrastructure: AWS / Docker Other: REST APIs, Git, CI/CD Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases (pgvector/Pinecone/Qdrant), AI agents, or document processing is a strong plus. What We’re Looking For Strong experience building AI-powered web applications Excellent Python and FastAPI skills Experience integrating OpenAI/LLM APIs into production applications Strong React/Next.js frontend development skills Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate interfaces Good understanding of database design and API architecture Experience deploying production applications Clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Good communication and ability to work independently To Apply Please include: 2–3 relevant AI web applications you have built Links to live projects or GitHub where available Your experience with Python/FastAPI and OpenAI The AI technologies you have worked with (RAG, agents, vector databases, etc.) Your estimated timeline and availability Briefly explain how you would approach building this application from the provided Figma designs We’re looking for someone who can take the project from Figma → frontend → AI/backend → testing → production deployment and deliver a reliable, production-ready application.
