AppleScript Shortcut Automation for macOS

I frequently have to press cmd + shift + 8 and, in some cases, follow that with Option-0149 to drop a bullet • into documents. Repeating those key combinations dozens of times a day slows me down, so I’d like a small AppleScript that fires the entire sequence for me with a single custom trigger...
