Excel + Python Data Analyst - Engineering Test Data & Technical Plotting

Requirements Essential: Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience handling large datasets and time-series data Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Ability to create professional technical charts/plots Comfortable with formulas, filtering, sorting and basic data manipulation Able to follow detailed technical instructions precisely Able to work independently once the methodology has been explained Python: Working knowledge of Python for data processing and plotting Experience with pandas and matplotlib preferred Ability to run, understand and make straightforward modifications to existing Python scripts Able to adapt scripts to new datasets and produce plots in a specified format Able to troubleshoot basic Python/data issues independently You do not need to be an advanced Python developer or data scientist. The engineering team will specify what analysis or plots are required; the role is primarily to execute the data processing and plotting accurately. Useful but not essential: Engineering, science or technical data experience Experience with laboratory/test data Experience with sensors, data acquisition systems or data loggers Familiarity with hydrogen, electrolysis, energy systems or process equipment
