Experienced Video Editor for Faceless Travel Documentary YouTube Channel

Hey there! We are building a new English-language faceless YouTube channel for the US and international market, focusing on extraordinary places, local life and fascinating regions around the world. Once the channel concept has been successfully validated, we plan to adapt the complete format for the German market. We are therefore looking for an editor who is interested in a long-term collaboration across both channels. We are looking for a talented, reliable and experienced YouTube video editor for a long-term collaboration. The videos will usually be approximately 15 minutes long. We will provide: the completed English voice-over; the final English script; clear instructions for each video; reference videos for editing quality and visual style. You do not need to speak German. We are looking for engaging documentary-style editing with: - high-quality and relevant footage; - a strong visual hook in the opening seconds; - visual changes and re-hooks that maintain viewer attention; - cinematic landscapes combined with people, culture and everyday life; - professional maps, graphics and simple animations where appropriate; - suitable background music and sound design; - visuals that accurately match the voice-over; - commercially usable footage, music and other assets. We do not want a basic slideshow of repetitive or random stock footage. In terms of editing quality, visual storytelling, graphics and atmosphere, we would like to take inspiration from the following videos. These references demonstrate our expectations regarding visual storytelling, thoughtful footage selection and professional execution. We are looking for someone with experience in faceless YouTube videos, documentary storytelling or YouTube Automation. This is intended to become a long-term collaboration. Shortlisted candidates may receive the same small paid test assignment before regular production begins.
