Full Stack JavaScript Developer (React / Next.js / Node / TypeScript) — AI Web Platform

We run a live, AI-powered web platform built on Next.js, React, Node.js, and TypeScript, with OpenAI behind its core features. It's in production with real users, and we need a developer to own its ongoing evolution: stabilizing what's there, shipping new features, and making the product faster and smoother to use. This is not a greenfield build. You'll be working inside an existing codebase, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable reading other people's code, diagnosing problems end-to-end, and improving things without breaking them. What you'll do Ship new features and refine existing ones across the full stack Track down and fix bugs on both the frontend and backend Build, maintain, and optimize REST APIs and third-party integrations Extend and support the OpenAI-powered features and workflows Improve performance, reliability, and user experience Collaborate with [the founder / a small product team / etc.] on priorities and delivery What you need Solid, real-world experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript A track record of building and maintaining full stack web applications Strong grasp of REST API design and frontend state management Hands-on experience with the OpenAI API or similar LLM integrations Ability to debug efficiently and communicate clearly about what you find Bonus points PostgreSQL or other relational database experience Familiarity with cloud deployment, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices
