Full-Stack React/Node.js Developer for Desire-Sharing Module with AWS S3

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build a new “Desire” module for an existing web application using React, Node.js and AWS S3. The module will allow users to create and share experiences they would like to have. Each desire may include a title, description, category and supporting images or videos. Users should also be able to view and manage the desires they have created. Scope of work:  Build a responsive frontend using React and TypeScript  Develop REST APIs using Node.js and Express  Allow authenticated users to create, view, edit and delete desires  Support uploading multiple images and videos  Integrate AWS S3 for secure media storage and retrieval  Display image previews and playable video content  Show file-upload progress, loading states and clear error messages  Validate file types, sizes and upload limits  Store desire details and media metadata in the existing database  Implement user ownership and permission checks  Support secure downloads or media access using presigned URLs where appropriate  Ensure good performance across desktop and mobile devices  Add appropriate unit and integration tests  Work through Git with clear, regular commits  Provide setup, API and handover documentation Required experience:  Strong React and TypeScript experience  Strong Node.js, Express and REST API experience  Practical experience with AWS S3 file uploads and retrieval  Experience handling images and video content  Knowledge of authentication and role-based permissions  Understanding of IAM, presigned URLs and secure file handling  Experience with responsive frontend development  Ability to write clean, modular and maintainable code  Clear communication and regular progress updates Important security requirement: AWS credentials must never be exposed in the React application.
