## iOS/iPad Application Developer — React, AWS, Okta, and Salesforce We are seeking an experienced iOS/iPad Application Developer to convert an existing React-based web application into a secure, production-ready iPad application. The developer will integrate the application with an existing AWS backend, implement Okta authentication, and connect with Salesforce APIs. ### Key Responsibilities * Evaluate the existing React application and recommend the best iPad architecture, such as React Native, Capacitor, or native Swift/SwiftUI. * Reuse applicable React components, TypeScript logic, API clients, and business rules. * Build a responsive, touch-friendly application optimized for different iPad screen sizes and orientations. * Integrate the application with REST or GraphQL services hosted in AWS. * Implement secure Okta authentication using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, PKCE, token refresh, and session management. * Integrate with Salesforce APIs for retrieving and updating customer, account, case, contact, or other business data. * Safely store authentication tokens and sensitive application data using the iOS Keychain. * Implement error handling, logging, network retry, timeout, and offline or limited-connectivity behavior. * Configure development, testing, staging, and production environments. * Create automated unit, integration, and user-interface tests. * Troubleshoot application, authentication, API, and performance issues. * Prepare the application for deployment through Apple Business Manager, enterprise mobile-device management, or the Apple App Store. * Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to the internal development team. ### Required Qualifications * Five or more years of professional mobile or front-end development experience. * Strong experience developing iPhone and iPad applications. * Demonstrated experience converting React web applications into mobile applications. * Strong skills in React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. * Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, or native iOS integration. * Experience integrating mobile applications with AWS-hosted APIs and services. * Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTPS, and asynchronous programming. * Hands-on Okta experience, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, PKCE, access tokens, refresh tokens, and multifactor authentication. * Experience integrating with Salesforce REST, Composite, or GraphQL APIs. * Knowledge of Salesforce Connected Apps, OAuth scopes, permission sets, and API security. * Familiarity with secure credential storage, encryption, certificate management, and mobile security practices. * Experience with Xcode, iOS SDKs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, application signing, provisioning profiles, and App Store deployment. * Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical-documentation skills. ### Preferred Qualifications * Experience with AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, AppSync, CloudWatch, S3, and CloudFront. * Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, or Sales Cloud. * Experience distributing private business applications through Apple Business Manager and mobile-device-management platforms. * Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, regulated healthcare, or other security-sensitive environments. * Experience implementing offline synchronization, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting. * Knowledge of mobile accessibility requirements and Apple Human Interface Guidelines. * Experience with automated build and release tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitrise, or Fastlane. ### Expected Deliverables * Production-ready iPad application based on the existing React application. * Secure Okta login and logout workflows, including MFA where required. * AWS backend connectivity across development, test, and production environments. * Salesforce API integration with appropriate authorization and error handling. * Automated test coverage and documented test results. * Deployment and release documentation. * Architecture, configuration, security, and operational-support documentation. ### Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate combines strong React and iOS development skills with practical cloud and enterprise-integration experience.
