Junior Full-Stack Developer - TypeScript / Vue / Node.js

40 hours/week | $20-$25/hour | 3-6 months | US Pacific Time We're looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to work with our engineering team on Vixi Suite, a production platform used to create interactive digital experiences for live events, sports, entertainment, and brand activations. This is a great opportunity for an early-career developer who wants hands-on experience working on real production software alongside experienced engineers. We're not looking for someone who already knows everything in our stack. We're looking for someone with strong development fundamentals, curiosity, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn quickly. Engagement Details - Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week - Rate: $20-$25/hour, depending on experience - Schedule: Must be available during US Pacific Time business hours - Initial engagement: Approximately 3-6 months, depending on project demand - Long-term potential: There is potential to extend the full-time engagement beyond the initial period. We may also have opportunities for ongoing, one-off development projects after the initial engagement ends. What You'll Work On You'll work directly with our development team on tasks such as: - Building and updating features across our web applications - Frontend development using Vue 3 and TypeScript - Backend development using Node.js and TypeScript - Working with MongoDB - Building and integrating REST APIs - Integrating third-party platforms and services - Debugging frontend, backend, and API issues - Working with applications and services hosted in Google Cloud Platform - Testing your work and collaborating with our QA team - Researching and prototyping new technologies - Building and improving AI-powered workflows Depending on your experience and interests, you may also work with generative AI APIs, image/video processing, and multi-step AI pipelines. Strong TypeScript and modern web development fundamentals are more important than already knowing our entire stack. During interviews and technical discussions, we expect candidates to explain their own thinking, troubleshooting process, and technical decisions.
