Laravel Developer – Checkout Flow & Payment Gateway Optimisation (Stripe, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay)

The problem: At checkout, selecting PayPal displays a credit card form instead of the PayPal login flow. Customers cannot complete a PayPal payment as intended. The existing Stripe credit card integration works correctly and must not be affected. Scope: Diagnose and fix the PayPal integration so the correct PayPal flow is presented Remove Klarna as a payment option Verify the remaining payment methods still work end to end This is a legacy Laravel codebase built by another agency. You will work on a staging environment with sandbox payment credentials. Access, repository, and a briefing document are provided. No client communication required — you work with us. Requirements: Proven Laravel experience, including inherited/legacy codebases Hands-on PayPal API integration experience (essential) Stripe familiarity (you must not break the working integration) Git workflow, clear commits Responsive within European business hours Deliverables: Working PayPal checkout, tested in sandbox Klarna removed Changes committed to Git with readable history Short written note on what was wrong and what you changed If this goes well, we have further scoped work on the same project (checkout restructure, customer account features).
