Next.js and TypeScript Developer

We need a developer for ongoing work on our existing web applications. Parts of the codebase were built with AI assistance and we want a second pair of eyes before we keep building. Stack: TypeScript 5.9, Next.js 16.3 (App Router), React 19.1, NextAuth v5 with JWT sessions, Prisma 6.19, PostgreSQL 16, deployed on Vercel. Also bcryptjs, Vercel Blob, AI SDK. First task: go through the existing code and tell us where it needs work, particularly around auth, access control and how customer data is handled. A written summary is enough, no formal report needed. After that: ongoing implementation of new features, around 20 hours per month. What matters to us: you've been building web applications for at least three years, including before AI coding tools were around. You use them yourself, but you can tell when the output is wrong. You don't need to be a security specialist. We have someone in-house who signs off on security and has the final say. You'll work with him, so you should be able to hold that conversation.
