Part-Time QA & Bug-Fix Engineer — Supabase + React + Python/ffmpeg (Ongoing)

I run an AI video generation platform with a few thousand active users. I'm looking for one reliable person, long term, to be my eyes on the platform and my hands for fixes. What you'd do • Run a daily test pass across every feature, generate videos in each format, watch the output, check quality (pacing, audio sync, image quality, subtitles, aspect ratio). • Report what's broken clearly, with steps to reproduce and relevant log output. • Investigate customer-reported issues and explain the cause in plain language. • Propose fixes. Once I approve, implement them. • Flag anything that looks wrong even when nobody has reported it. - Start your proposal with the word RENDER so I know you read this. The stack • Supabase — Postgres, edge functions in Deno/TypeScript, storage, Row Level Security • Python jobs using ffmpeg for video rendering, running on serverless compute • React / Vite / Tailwind frontend • Stripe for billing • Several third-party AI APIs for image, audio and video generation What I need from you • Real Supabase experience — edge functions and reading logs. This is not optional. • Comfortable with SQL and Postgres RLS. • Python and ffmpeg experience is a strong plus. • Genuine attention to visual detail. Half this job is watching generated videos and noticing something is subtly off. If that sounds boring, this isn't your role. • Willingness to tell me directly when something is broken — including when it's something I built. • Some overlap with Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) working hours. How this works We start with a small trial task so we can both see if it fits. If it works, it's ongoing at around 15 hours per week with room to grow.
