Senior AWS DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer — Immediate Start | India Preferred

We are looking for a highly experienced AWS / DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of an existing production environment. This is not a greenfield AWS setup. You must be comfortable entering an existing architecture, understanding it quickly, identifying what is broken, and fixing production issues without requiring extensive hand-holding. What you will own * Audit and understand our existing AWS architecture * Diagnose and fix broken AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines * Build/rebuild reliable CI/CD pipelines * Troubleshoot failed deployments and production incidents * GitHub → CI/CD → AWS deployment architecture * EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, IAM, VPC and related AWS services * Docker/container deployments * Environment/secrets management * CloudWatch logging, monitoring and alerting * IAM permissions and security * Infrastructure reliability and cost optimization * Backup / recovery architecture * Infrastructure as Code — Terraform / CloudFormation preferred * Document the architecture so another engineer can understand and operate it * Create a clean dev → staging → production deployment workflow The most important requirement You must be extremely strong at debugging existing production systems. We need someone who can look at logs, GitHub workflows, infrastructure, permissions, networking and deployment configuration and rapidly determine: “This is what is broken, this is why it is broken, and this is how we fix it.” We do NOT want someone who only knows how to create a new AWS project from tutorials. Strong preference * 5+ years AWS / DevOps experience * Previous responsibility for production SaaS systems * AWS certification is useful but practical experience matters much more * Strong GitHub Actions experience * Terraform * Docker * Linux * Python/Bash scripting * Strong understanding of AWS security/IAM/networking * Experience with high-availability production systems * Experience debugging infrastructure created by other engineers Engagement Initially contract/project based. For the right person, this is intended to convert into a long-term / full-time contract role working closely with our engineering team. India-based candidates strongly preferred.
