Senior JavaScript Frontend Developer – Alipay Mini App SDK Experience for Fintech Application

We are developing a Fintech application with an Alipay Mini App-based frontend architecture and are looking for a highly experienced JavaScript Frontend Developer to support the implementation of the solution. This is a specialised frontend engineering requirement arising from our High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD). The application frontend is not React Native. It will be developed using the Alipay Mini App / Mini Program framework and SDK, and therefore candidates with direct Alipay ecosystem experience will be strongly preferred. The successful developer will work closely with our solution architects, backend engineers, product team, UX/UI resources, and Fintech domain specialists to translate the approved architecture and designs into a secure, performant, production-grade frontend application. Core Requirement We are specifically looking for a: Strong JavaScript Frontend Developer with practical Alipay Mini App SDK / Mini Program development experience. Candidates should be comfortable developing applications within the Alipay Mini App ecosystem, including working with Alipay APIs, lifecycle events, UI components, service integrations, authentication mechanisms, payment-related workflows, and backend APIs. Experience limited primarily to React Native, Flutter, or conventional web frontend development will not be sufficient unless accompanied by relevant Alipay Mini App experience or strong comparable Mini Program experience. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret the existing HLD and LLD for the Fintech solution. Translate approved UX/UI designs and application flows into functional Alipay Mini App frontend components. Develop the frontend using JavaScript and the Alipay Mini App SDK/framework. Implement application screens, navigation, state handling, user interactions, validation, and frontend business logic. Integrate the frontend with backend APIs and Fintech services. Implement secure user authentication, session management, identity verification, transaction initiation, payment-related interactions, and other relevant Fintech workflows. Work with Alipay Mini App APIs and platform capabilities where required. Handle asynchronous API interactions, error handling, retries, loading states, and user notifications. Ensure the frontend performs effectively across supported mobile devices and Alipay environments. Implement appropriate client-side security practices for a financial services application. Work closely with backend developers to define and validate API contracts. Support integration with services including, where applicable: Customer onboarding KYC / identity verification Wallet functionality Account management Payment initiation Transaction history Beneficiary management Notifications Transaction confirmation OTP / authentication workflows Customer support functions Participate in technical design reviews and recommend improvements to the frontend architecture. Debug integration and compatibility issues within the Alipay Mini App environment. Support QA, UAT, defect resolution, and production readiness. Produce clean, modular, maintainable, and properly documented frontend code. Important Architecture Note This project is not being implemented using React Native. The selected developer must understand that the frontend architecture is based on: Alipay Mini App / Mini Program technologies + JavaScript rather than: React Native / Flutter / conventional native mobile development. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal expert is someone who: Has strong hands-on JavaScript frontend engineering experience. Has previously built or contributed to Alipay Mini Apps / Mini Programs. Understands how Mini Apps differ architecturally from conventional web and native mobile applications. Has worked on transaction-oriented or Fintech products. Can read an HLD/LLD and independently translate technical specifications into robust implementation. Is comfortable collaborating with solution architects and backend engineers. Understands secure software development practices required for financial applications. Produces clean and maintainable production-grade code. Can troubleshoot complex API and platform-integration issues independently. Communicates clearly and provides regular engineering updates.
