Senior React Native Developer Needed to Enhance an Existing iOS & Android App

We are looking for an experienced React Native developer to help improve and expand an existing mobile application available on iOS and Android. The core application is already built, and we need a reliable developer who can work with our existing codebase, implement new features, integrate APIs, resolve bugs, and prepare stable releases for both platforms. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned features, communicate clearly, and deliver clean, maintainable code. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript. - Integrate REST APIs and third-party services. - Implement secure authentication, user registration, and account management. - Build payment flows and subscription features where required. - Improve app performance, troubleshoot bugs, and handle edge cases. - Implement push notifications and real-time features when needed. - Manage iOS and Android builds, testing, and release preparation. - Collaborate with our backend developer and provide regular progress updates. Requirements - Proven experience with React Native for iOS and Android. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React Navigation, and state management. - Experience integrating REST APIs and handling authentication. - Familiarity with payment integrations such as Stripe or in-app subscriptions through RevenueCat. - Experience debugging existing codebases and resolving production issues. - Knowledge of App Store and Google Play deployment processes. - Ability to work independently and deliver features in clearly defined milestones. Nice to Have - Node.js and Express backend development. - Firebase authentication, push notifications, and real-time databases. - Experience with fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, logistics, or booking applications. Project Scope We will begin with a defined set of features and bug fixes. If the collaboration goes well, there may be opportunities for ongoing development and additional projects.
