Senior Snowflake/DBT Data Engineer

Exp- 8 yrs Shift- 12 pm to 9 pm Budget-$800 Remote Oppurtunity Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Snowflake/dbt Data Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise data modernization initiative involving migration of legacy SAP BODS, SQL, and Informatica IICS workloads into a modern Snowflake and dbt architecture. The engineer will work closely with onshore technical leads to develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.. Key Responsibilities •⁠ ⁠Develop dbt models for staging, intermediate, ODS, and consumption layers. •⁠ ⁠Convert legacy SQL, SAP BODS, and IICS transformation logic into dbt models. •⁠ ⁠Design modular and reusable dbt macros and transformation frameworks. •⁠ ⁠Optimize Snowflake SQL performance and warehouse utilization. •⁠ ⁠Implement data transformation best practices using ELT architecture. •⁠ ⁠Create technical documentation, lineage, and source-to-target mappings. •⁠ ⁠Participate in code reviews and deployment activities. •⁠ ⁠Support migration validation and reconciliation.
