Senior Software Engineer | Python | Backend | AWS

We’re a software development agency building web applications, SaaS products, and custom software for businesses. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer based in the US to contribute directly to our ongoing projects. This is a flexible, part-time role - ideal if you have a strong engineering background and prefer high-impact coding and technical work without a full-time commitment. What You’ll Do - Write, review, and improve production-quality code - Design and implement system architecture and core features - Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and database layers - Collaborate with the team on technical implementation and code reviews - Identify and resolve technical issues in active projects - Contribute to technical documentation and implementation plans - Participate in technical discussions and planning as needed Requirements - 8+ years of professional software engineering experience - Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field - Strong hands-on experience with web development, APIs, databases, and software architecture - Proven track record of delivering production software - Ability to write clean, maintainable code and clearly explain technical decisions - Comfortable working independently and with remote teams - Strong English communication skills - Flexible availability for occasional meetings and focused work sessions Nice to Have - Experience as a Senior Engineer or Tech Lead - Background in SaaS or custom application development - Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms - Previous work with distributed teams Schedule - Fully remote - Hours vary based on project needs (some weeks may require several hours of development, reviews, or discussions) - No fixed daily schedule and no guaranteed minimum hours - Project details and documentation will be shared in advance whenever possible How to Apply Please send a short introduction that covers your software engineering experience, your main areas of technical expertise, and your general availability.
