Zoho One Implementation Specialist / Solutions Consultant — Long-Term Partner

We are a growing U.S.-based professional services and technology company looking for an experienced Zoho One specialist to help us design, configure, integrate, and maintain our Zoho One environment. We already have Zoho One. We are not looking for someone to simply install applications or configure a basic CRM. We need someone who understands how the Zoho ecosystem works together and can help us create a clean, scalable operating system for the business. This will begin as an implementation project, but if we find the right person, we are interested in developing a long-term working relationship as our business and Zoho environment grow. Applications we expect to use Our environment will likely include: Zoho CRM Zoho Books Zoho Projects Zoho Sign Zoho Forms Zoho Flow Zoho Bookings Zoho Campaigns / Marketing Automation Zoho WorkDrive Zoho SalesIQ Zoho Analytics Zoho Creator where there is a legitimate business case We do not expect every application to be implemented immediately. We want someone who can help us determine what should be built now versus later. Our basic business workflow Our business generally moves through: Lead → Discovery → Opportunity → Proposal/Quote → Agreement → Invoice/Payment → Project → Production → QA → Client Review → Final Delivery → Follow-Up/Referral We want Zoho to connect this process rather than operate as a collection of disconnected applications. Examples of what we want to accomplish include: Capture and manage leads in CRM Track companies, contacts and opportunities Manage sales pipeline and follow-up Create quotes/proposals Send agreements for electronic signature Invoice customers and track payment Create and manage projects Assign production work Track project status and deliverables Create customer-facing forms Automate handoffs between applications Create email campaigns and customer communications Build dashboards and management reporting Maintain clean customer and project data What we need from you We want someone who can first understand the business process and then recommend how Zoho should be configured. You should be comfortable saying: “I would not build it that way. Here is a simpler approach using native Zoho functionality.” We specifically want to avoid unnecessary customization and complicated systems that become difficult to maintain. Your responsibilities may include: Business-process discovery Zoho One architecture recommendations CRM configuration Modules, fields, layouts and pipelines Workflow rules and Blueprints Books integration Projects configuration Forms and Sign workflows Zoho Flow integrations Email/marketing automation Roles and permissions Dashboards and Analytics Testing and troubleshooting Documentation Training Ongoing improvements Required experience We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience implementing multiple applications within Zoho One, not just Zoho CRM. Strong candidates should have experience with several of the following: Zoho CRM, Books, Projects, Flow, Forms, Sign, Campaigns/Marketing Automation, Analytics and WorkDrive. Experience with project-based professional services, construction, architecture, consulting, agencies, or similar businesses is helpful but not required. Technical philosophy We prefer: Native Zoho functionality → Zoho Flow → limited Deluge/custom functions → Zoho Creator/custom development only when justified. We do not want to overengineer Version 1. We prefer standard function out of the box before customization Initial engagement We plan to start with a limited engagement to: Understand our business and workflows Review our existing Zoho One environment Recommend the system architecture Identify Version 1 priorities Begin implementing the highest-priority workflows If the initial engagement is successful, there will be additional implementation work and potentially ongoing monthly work supporting and improving our Zoho environment. Describe one implementation where you connected CRM, Books and Projects. How do you decide between native Zoho functionality, Flow, Deluge and Creator?
