Senior AI Browser Automation Developer – Playwright / Puppeteer / Node.js Project-Based Contract | Experienced Developers Only We are looking for an experienced developer to build a standalone, AI-assisted browser automation system for our digital marketing operations. The system will automate repetitive workflows across third-party websites, including business directory submissions, content publishing, and structured form submissions. We need someone with strong experience building intelligent browser automation, not just basic scripts or record-and-replay bots. What We're Looking to Build A standalone automation engine capable of: Navigating different websites and dynamically identifying form fields Completing multi-step forms using structured input data Creating accounts and submitting approved content where supported Handling unexpected page changes and workflow interruptions Pausing for human assistance when CAPTCHA, verification, or missing information prevents progress Resuming workflows and reporting results with supporting evidence Providing an API or similar interface for future integration The system should combine reliable browser automation with AI-assisted decision-making where appropriate. Required Experience Strong Node.js/backend development experience Advanced Playwright or Puppeteer experience Experience with AI/LLM-driven browser agents Dynamic form handling and browser session management Building reliable automation with error handling and recovery API development and clean, maintainable architecture Bonus: Experience with browser automation for SEO, directories, content publishing platforms, and human-in-the-loop workflows. Important We understand that some websites restrict automation. We are not looking for CAPTCHA bypass solutions. The system should recognize unsupported actions and provide a practical human-assisted workflow. Deliverables A working standalone automation engine, source code, technical documentation, and a demonstration using agreed test workflows.
