Valtrix is designed for growing businesses across various industries, including owners without extensive financial knowledge and more financially sophisticated users. The platform will combine financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and AI-powered recommendations into an intuitive subscription-based application. The primary objective is not simply to display financial data. Valtrix must help business owners turn financial information into actionable decisions that improve business performance. I have prepared a detailed developer memorandum outlining the product vision, functionality, technical requirements, and MVP expectations. This memorandum will be provided for review. Quantify potential financial impacts using verified calculations and clearly stated assumptions. Provide recommendations related to profitability, expenses, revenue, cash flow, and financial planning. 3. Decision Implementation and Performance Tracking This is a key differentiating feature. Business owners must be able to: Review and select a recommended financial decision. Record their intended action and implementation date. Mark the decision as implemented. Establish baseline financial performance. Track subsequent financial results. Evaluate whether performance improved after implementation. The platform must distinguish observed financial changes from improvements directly attributable to a decision. 4. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Simulations Create and monitor budgets. Compare budgeted results against actual financial performance. Essentials: 6-month financial forecasting. Professional: 12-month and extended forecasting, including 24 months. Allow business owners to explore financial what-if scenarios. Support multiple saved scenarios for Professional subscribers. 5. Two User Experience Modes Both subscription plans must support: Guided View: Simple financial explanations and an intuitive interface for business owners without a finance background. Advanced View: More detailed financial analysis, financial ratios, assumptions, and reporting for sophisticated users. 6. Two Subscription Plans Both subscription plans must be operational in the initial MVP. Valtrix Essentials: $99/month. Valtrix Professional: $199/month. Subscription-based feature access and secure payment processing are required. 7. Free Customer Acquisition Features A free Financial Health Assessment that does not require account registration. Three to five financial inputs, a basic financial snapshot, and one recommendation preview. A seven-day free trial. No credit card required to begin the trial. Trial users must be able to convert to a paid subscription without losing their data. 8. Scalable Financial Data Architecture The initial architecture must be designed to eventually support financial information from: Uploaded financial statements. Connected business bank accounts. Accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero. Actual banking and accounting integrations are planned for future development phases and are not required to be functional in the initial MVP. The architecture must allow these integrations to be added without rebuilding the core financial calculation system. 9. Security and User Management Secure user authentication.
