We are looking for a skilled Python backend developer to help us develop and improve backend functionality for a web application. The ideal candidate should have experience building REST APIs, integrating databases, writing clean and maintainable code, and implementing proper error handling. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python. - Use FastAPI or Django REST Framework for backend development. - Integrate APIs with PostgreSQL or MongoDB. - Implement request validation and error handling. - Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code. - Test API endpoints and fix issues identified during testing. - Provide setup instructions and documentation for the completed work. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of Python. - Experience with FastAPI or Django REST Framework. - Understanding of REST API principles and HTTP status codes. - Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with Git and GitHub. - Understanding of API authentication and security best practices. Expected Deliverables: - Working API endpoints based on the agreed requirements. - Database integration where required. - Basic request validation and error handling. - API testing results or a Postman collection. - Source code with clear setup instructions. - Basic documentation explaining how to run and test the application.
